Criminal cases filed in US vs Pinoy officials

Solving the many problems of our country is like solving a puzzle. To fit the pieces in their proper place, you have to find the “key element.”

I have heard some suggestions from overseas Filipinos on how to ensure the success of whoever is elected president in 2010. From their suggestions, the “key element” is reducing graft and corruption, which is the most debilitating problem of the country and the underlying cause of poverty, fraudulent elections, political and socio-economic instability, a corrupt judiciary, a malfeasant bureaucracy, loss of business confidence and other social ills.
