Belgium removed from OECD’s tax haven “grey list”

BRUSSELS – Belgium has been removed from a “grey list” of countries seen as lacking financial transparency after it signed 12 agreements with other countries to exchange tax-related information, the OECD said on Thursday.
The Paris-based organisation had put Belgium on the list of countries that had agreed to improve transparency standards, but had not yet signed the necessary international accords.
