Banking secrecy offers no tax protection

Abu Dhabi: Banking secrecy in Switzerland does not provide protection against international tax offences, Swiss President Hans-Rudolf Merz said in an exclusive interview with Gulf News.
Merz was in the UAE last week on a three-day official visit and had high level meetings with the UAE leaders including President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
