Submission to the 6th BRICS Summit

The Financial Transparency Coalition submitted a letter to the 6th BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) Summit, which was held in Fortaleza, Brazil on July 15-17, 2014. In the submission, the FTC called for BRICS leaders to prioritize increased tax revenue as an avenue to financing development, adopt transparency measures to curb illicit financial flows in regards to the newly created BRICS Development Bank, and to support the strengthening and upgrading the UN Tax Committee.
