Little Progress Achieved in G20 Fight Against Tax Evasion

A report from Spanish observatory on foreign affairs from the Fundación alternativas, reveals that measures adopted by the G20 to fight against tax havens and tax evasion have not been implemented yet. The report entitled “The fight against tax havens and tax evasion: Progress since the London G20 summit and the challenges ahead” proposes ways to implement measures that have already been adopted. Tax Haven USA Attracts Over $3 Trillion in Foreign Dirty Money

I have found a number for the amount of dirty money that is attracted into the United States on account of the secrecy facilities it provides: US$3 trillion. Yes, three trillion dollars. Which goes quite some way to explaining why the United States came top of the Tax Justice Network’s Financial Secrecy Index.
