Information exchange on tax approved

Lawmakers yesterday approved a proposed bill that will now see Macau meet international standards on the exchange of information on tax related issues.
Presenting the proposed bill, secretary for economy and finance Francis Tam Pak Yuen said that in April this year, G20 members urged all countries and regions to adopt the 2005 Tax Model outlined by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
