RANCHI: Shortly after assuming the charge as Jharkhand governor, Kateekal Shankaranarayanan issued a veiled threat to corrupt and lethargic bureaucrats of the state.
After taking the oath here on Sunday, Shankaranarayanan said: “I am a simple, straightforward man and have been in politics for a long time. I have always believed in strict’ and transparent’ governance. I followed these principles during my tenure as a minister in Kerela governor and as the Nagaland governor.”
