Former Miss. resident sentenced in tax case

GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) – Paul Richard Arceneaux, a resident of Church Point, La., has been sentenced to 46 months in prison for failing to file personal tax returns and corruptly interfering with the due administration of Internal Revenue laws.
On Wednesday, U.S. District Judge Walter J. Gex III also ordered Arceneaux to pay restitution of $176,000. He ordered Arceneaux to be placed on three years of supervised release once he completes his sentence.
