8th International Conference on Illicit Financial Flows: Multiple crisis and global fiscal governance

The Financial Transparency Coalition is pleased to announce the 8th International Conference on Illicit Financial Flows which will take place in Buenos Aires, 16-17 July, 2024.
This conference will bring together members and allies of the Coalition to explore ways of fighting Illicit Financial Flows (IFFs), mobilize national and international financing, and promoting recovery and just transition in times of multiples crisis that the Global South and the world is facing.
This edition of the Conference will also discuss global fiscal policies, and the fight against Illicit Financial Flows in the context of multiple crisis, and the evolution of tools and opportunities to fight tax havens, diverse approaches to progressive taxation, and financial transparency, the role of fiscal policies in fighting climate change, and guarantee human rights, and gender equality, among other objectives. The discussions will guide the opportunities of the Coalition, to design strategies and actions and next steps.
