Large Scale Mining: Do They Pay the Taxes They Should?

FTC member, Latin American Network on Debt, Development, and Rights (Latindadd) looked at the case of Yanacocha, a mining company operating in Peru. Latindadd examined the companies dealings in Peru and the region, and assessed whether or not the company was using murky financial structures and hidden company information to pay less in taxes to the government.
